Racine Woods Park can be found in the Brushy Creek neighborhood in Austin (bordering west Round Rock). Set among the trees, this magical little park is a relaxing and beautiful place to play.
The Park
Next to the playground is this charming area to climb over a big outcrop of rocks (known as the “sink hole”) set under the trees. We were there on a misty, cloudy morning which made the whole park feel enchanted.
The Playground at Racine Woods Park
This park has a small playground, but the perfect size for my 3 year old! He was happily entertained for over an hour!
Austin Active Kids Opinion
This park is small, but lovely and shady park near west Round Rock in Austin. Playground is best for smaller kids (2-5 years old), but older kids would like climbing the rock formations around this park. For more fun in Round Rock, go here!
Reminders
This is just a neighborhood park (The Woods of Brushy Creek) and there are no restrooms. It’s shady and there are picnic tables, so bring some water and snacks!
Outing Time
We stayed for about an hour, but my 3 year old wanted to stay even longer!
