Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center has one of the best climbing trees in all of Austin.
Blunn Creek Nature Preserve has an enormous oak tree that is a challenge for tree climbers.
Elizabeth Milburn Park in Cedar Park is loaded with climbable trees everywhere!
There’s a beautiful walking path that goes around Springwoods Park with plenty of climbing trees. And you can practice more climbing on the playground if you prefer plastic trees when climbing!
Landa Park in New Braunfels has a huge tree that is irresistible to tree climbing kids.
Veterans Memorial Park in the Fern Bluff neighborhood of Round Rock (17813 Park Valley Drive) has one of the biggest and best trees for climbing.
Berry Springs Park in Georgetown is filled with beautiful pecan trees. One in particular is perfect for climbing.
McKinney Falls State Park has some beautiful trees all along the creek while you hike, perfect for climbing. Even dads can do it!
Pease Park has some nice trees for climbing, as well as a nature-inspired playground area.
