Summer Fun at Quarry Splash Pad

July 21, 2021

If you only go to one splash pad this summer, make it the Quarry Splash Pad! This is our favorite one in the Austin area. Summer Fun at Quarry Splash Pad is the best way to beat the Austin heat!

Quarry Splash Pad

Admission

Yes, there is a $2 per person admission fee for this splash pad. But it is totally worth it!

Tables

You can usually snag a table if you get there right when they open (or even just before they open), or if you come a bit later in the day, when the morning crowd leaves for lunch and naps. There were plenty of open tables when we got there at 12:30 p.m.

Splash Pad

The main splash pad area has water cannons, a little slide, and many sprayers. Even when this place is crowded, there is still plenty for everyone to do!

Pavilions

There are several pavilions you can rent out for parties here! The best one is the big one towards the back of the splash pad. There are grills if you choose to cook food over there too.

Rock Wall

Another unique feature that this splash pad has to offer is a little rock wall under the bridge where kids can climb.

Sand Pit

The sand pit wasn’t being used at all when we went (too hot!) but it’s nice that they have it there for an alternative place to hang out and play for kids who are done splashing.

Austin Active Kids Opinion

The Quarry Splash Pad is our all-time favorite splash pad. Kids of all ages are entertained for hours and request to come back each summer.

Reminders

A credit card is needed for the $2 per person admission fee (no cash accepted). Sand toys for the sand pit would be fun. Don’t forget towels, sunscreen, water, snacks, and empty containers for the splash pad. Pro tip: To beat the crowds, go when everyone leaves for lunch, around 12:30 or so. By 1 p.m. the place clears out as people leave for lunch and naps.

Location

3005 Co Rd 175, Leander
